Simple step-by-step help for signing in, registering for seats, updating household information, changing seat requests, and understanding pricing.

The PDF versions include the same sections and screenshots for offline reference.

Before you start

  • Use your member email address to sign in.
  • The first-time password is usually your ID number unless you already changed it.
  • Household information and seat reservations are updated in different places.
  • If you change family members, update the seat request too if that changes who needs seats.
  • Membership includes 2 seats. Each additional person who needs a seat is ₪250.

Help & FAQ

Answers to common questions about registering and managing your seats.

How do I sign in?+

Use your email address. The first time, your password is your Israeli ID number (Teudat Zehut); you'll then choose your own password. Forgot it? Use “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page.

What can I do in my portal?+

Three things: update your household and family details, change your password, and submit or update your seat request for the coming holidays.

How do I update my family?+

Open “My Household & Family”. Each person has their own card where you can edit their details, and you can add or remove family members. Changes here update your records only — to ask for seats, use the seat request.

How do I request seats?+

Open the seat request and follow the four steps: your household, who needs a seat (separately for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), your seating preferences, and a final review. You'll get a confirmation code and can edit your request any time while registration is open.

Are my seating preferences guaranteed?+

No — preferences are requests we try our best to honour, subject to space. Add anything specific in the notes box.

What is the memorial (yahrzeit) section for?+

You can record the Hebrew date of passing of a parent or loved one, so the shul can note the yahrzeit each year.

How do I pay?+

If your shul charges for seats, you'll see a cost summary after registering. You can pay securely online or by bank transfer — include your ID number (TZ) as the reference.

What do the Hebrew name, aliyah, and Kohen/Levi fields mean?+

These optional details help the gabbai and office beyond seating — for aliyahs to the Torah and Hebrew records. Hover the “?” next to any field for a short explanation.

What the fields mean

ID Number (Teudat Zehut)
Your Israeli ID number (Teudat Zehut). The first time you sign in, this is also your password.
Hebrew first name
First name in Hebrew letters — used for aliyahs, memorials, and the Hebrew seating list.
Birthday (Hebrew)
The Hebrew-calendar birthday, e.g. י״ד ניסן. Optional.
Name for Aliyah
The name read out when this person is given an aliyah to the Torah — usually their Hebrew name and their father's, e.g. יעקב בן משה.
Bar Mitzvah parsha
The weekly Torah portion of the boy's Bar Mitzvah. Optional.
Kohen / Levi / Israel
Choose Kohen, Levi, or Israel.
Above bar/bat mitzvah age?
Tick if the person is Bar/Bat Mitzvah age or older — they are given their own adult seat.
Requires an accessible seat
Tick if this person needs step-free access, a wheelchair space, or a seat near the entrance.
Needs a seat
Check to reserve this person a seat for that holiday. A small child who comes but sits with a parent doesn't need one — leave it unchecked and mention it in the notes.
Hebrew date
The Hebrew date of passing, e.g. כ״ז אדר — the day the yahrzeit is observed each year.
